Sacred Valley Of The Incas


The Sacred Valley Of  The Incas located in the oracles of the Urubamba River. This river in its beginnings has the name of Vilcanota, which comes from the Quechua word Wilcamayu the Sacred River. The Incas built archaeological centers, far from their borders, which replicated the constellations that make them known to the Andean city by what they are contributing, however, to the sheer beauty of this charming valley.

Itinerary

Sacred Valley of the Incas we are pick you up from your respective hotels in Cusco from (8:00 – 8:30 am.) Then we will start our excursion to the first point of visit the Ccorao craft fair.

In this tour you can visit 3 of the best architectural remains that the Sacred Valley of the Incas houses.
First we will go to Pisaq, impressive construction built in the period of the rise of the Inca Empire.

Here we can observe the great work achieved by the Incas, through an endless agricultural terraces that adorn virtually all the mountains around it and fine buildings inhabited by the Inca nobility 500 years ago.

After our visit to this ancient Inca citadel, we will visit the modern town of Pisaq, which is located on the right bank of the Urubamba River and is populated almost entirely by the descendants of the Incas.
Here we will visit a picturesque handicraft market for those who like to buy souvenirs, this place is undoubtedly one of the best places to do it, since there are many variety of articles of alpaca wool, silver and gold jewelry, among others.

Then we will continue the trip to Urubamba where we will enjoy a delicious lunch buffet.

After our lunch we will go to the town of Ollantaytambo, where we will visit the beautiful fortress that bears the same name.

Here we go through the most important sectors and our guide will give us an explanation about this place.

Once the visit to Ollantaytambo is finished on the way back to Cusco we will visit the picturesque town of Chinchero famous for its fabrics, where the remains of the royal hacienda of Túpac Inca Yupanqui are located.

You will admire its well preserved Inca Wall in the main square and visit the beautiful colonial temple with interesting frescoes on the porch, built on the foundations of an Inca building. Then return to the city of Cusco arriving at 19:20 hours approx.
