CANOTAGE ON THE SAGRADO URUBAMBA RIVER

Itinerary

One of our most popular rafting tours in the Cusipata sector, at the top of the river. It is a panoramic tour to get there and worth every minute. Cusipata is a sector of the best rivers of the Urubamba for rafting activities, since there are fewer people, quiet and clean than the part of Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley. It consists of rapids that are classified II, III, IV and more. In general, the water will run for two and a half hours, with some parts to relax and soak up the experience, and other parts with high levels of adrenaline.

Upon arrival at the river, they prepare with their wetsuits, helmet, waterproof jacket, and life jacket. The guide will have to give you a 15-minute talk on how to function safely (how to row).
Finally, you reach the end of the rafting section. This trip is known for being full of fun, with many of the “adrenaline bombs” on the road. You will have a picnic lunch, with hot and cold drinks, right in the center of the small village or near the river, with fantastic landscapes of the Andes in Peru.
We will meet at 09:00 in the morning at the office, our transport takes us to our campsite, after an hour and a half hours of travel we will arrive at the banks of the upper Urubamba river basin, in “CASA CUSI”. Our professional rafting guides will give you a safety talk and provide you with all the appropriate equipment for rafting. We will be having fun for 02 hours and a half, running class II and III rapids. Then continue on our private bus that will be waiting for us to take us back to CASA CUSI, where a hot and well-served lunch awaits us later if you wish you can enjoy the sauna.
The return will be in the afternoon, arriving in Cusco approximately 5:00 p. m. in the afternoon.
